Jesus in Question: Worshiping Snakes?

Why is it that when so many creatures are capable of a virgin birth, Christians believe that a virgin birth is evidence that Mary was impregnated with the Messiah, G-d?

Jews say the New Testament contains a misinterpretation of the prophets in scripture, and that virgin birth meant that Moshiach would be born of a young monogamous woman in wedlock.

What is so different between the virgin birth between a snake and a human that with the snake the conclusion drawn with the idea is, "That is neat trivia," while in the case of Jesus it is evidence to a Christian claim that he is a deity.

Based upon Christian reasoning; why shouldn't we worship this snake as a Gd (the one at the website above)?

If Mary underwent parthenogenesis how can we determine the exact nature of this rarity to question if either of the snake or the human was conceived by a different mechanism?


From reading Torah I conclude that Gd doesn't want me worshipping any snakes because it is forbidden to worship that which is incarnate in the world; be it a rock, a snake, or Jesus.

The Journey to Eden


Following our seemingly endless slavery in Egypt, on the way to a homeland I call Eden; we encountered a sea of hope, and faith.  The end was almost in sight, but we were unsure of ourselves.  We said, “What if Hashem abandons us?  What if this is all a fluke?”  We had seen miracles, but we had also experienced great horrors.  Indeed, we were scared.

We didn’t yet know if we could trust in Gd, and to this day some of us still question such things saying, “How can a loving and powerful Gd allow something such as the Holocaust?”

We need to dream or Gd can never part the sea for us.

We need Hashem, because nothing short of a miracle is what we should expect when we have the Author of the cosmos on our side.

In Theory: Wardenclyffe Tower, the Tesla Tower, and How It Should Work (Edited)

On the web, I have come across many pages and videos on Wardenclyffe Tower, but so far everything I have come across on the way the this technology should work is missing key bits and pieces.

Nicholas Tesla’s Wardenclyffe Tower is very similar to the way a battery works.  For instance, the ionosphere which was to act as the energy source is comparable to battery acid in a DC (Direct Current) cell.  The ionosphere is as such because it consists of ions.  Ions are electrically charged because they pass electricity.  For example, deionized water does not carry a charge well because it is no longer ionic, to a certain degree.  The truth is that deionized water can pass a charge, although it is very resistant to that.  For instance, if sodium chloride (table salt) is dissolved in water, it ionizes into sodium and chloride, the sodium ion carrying a positive electrical change, and chloride carrying a negative charge.

The positive terminal was to be made of copper and placed at the top of the Tower.  The negative terminal was iron, and placed in the dirt.  In chemical reactions, copper is positive because it may receive electrons.  In chemical reactions, iron is negative because may give off electrons.  The reaction of copper and iron is sometimes referred to as a ox/redox reaction.

In my opinion, the best way to understand the Tesla Tower is to build a battery yourself.  Start with a lemon, a penny (copper or copper plated), and zinc plated nail (sometimes called a galvanized nail).  Like iron, the zinc functions as a negative terminal, meaning it may give off electrons.  These items are purchasable at regular stores; the local grocery store and local hardware store.  And oh yeah, you will want to pick up a cheap voltmeter at a store like Radio Shack, not because it is necessary for the DC cell to work, but because it is important to be able to know that your battery works.  If you are uncertain at this point, perhaps use a regular 9V battery, and play around with it until you are able to measure the voltage of the 9V battery with a voltmeter.

If you are able to figure out how to measure the 9V battery with your voltmeter, then the next step is to use the idea of this battery technology and apply it to a lemon.  There isn’t much hope for you if you can’t intuitively figure out how to operate a voltmeter.

If you have a store bought battery, then you have probably noticed that the way to complete a battery circuit is through its two terminals, one positive, and one negative.  The “+” or red terminal is positive.  The “-” or black terminal is negative.  It is even true that there can be multiple negative terminals, each passing current in such a system.  Thus, just as solid state electricity may be wired to carry parallel circuits, so to is it possible to differentiate electrical terminals in any system, be it the atmosphere, or water, etc.  

Just as we could use the electrodes of a battery to power a lightbulb, so can we use the current generated from the completion of copper and zinc electrodes embedded in a lemon to register on a voltmeter.  Yes, that is it! Use a lemon to power a light bulb!  Make sure the penny and the nail are actually part way into the lemon so that they are in contact with the juice.   You should be able to find video instructions that are plain on www.youtube.com (search for lemon battery).  You may try lighting up a Christmas tree light bulb with it by connect it.

Basically, what Telsa hoped for was that the entire ground of planet earth would become the negative terminal of a battery, so that we could access its electrical power without traditional power outlets, and also very inexpensively.  That is, as a negative terminal, the ground of earth would give off electrons from the stored energy in the skies completing a DC electrical circuit.

Hope and Reality - Live in the real world. Dream in the ideal world.

The cosmos began in darkness.  It is the same way with the Jewish people.  Judaism began in a world full of idolatry with Abraham destroying his father’s idols.  However, in Egypt the former glories of the patriarchs and matriarchs had become but a dim light.  The enslaved Jews in Egypt cried, “There can’t be a Gd; not with all this pain and suffering,” entertaining the idea that the former glories of the patriarchs and matriarchs of Judaism could be chalked up to luck and nothing else.  We objected to the idea of Gd because our cries for hope went unanswered for so long in Egypt.

The Jews in slavery had only heard of Gd, and flirted with atheism, but when we were about to totally give up on Hashem, Moses came and showed us the path to redemption.  He showed us the real Gd does care and that there is no dream too big to dream, reviving the soul of the Jewish people, with the wholesome Light of creation.

Faith in Hashem's Providence

I am really liking Pandora. Today is my first day trying it because we now have internet. This stuff is so inspirational for me to practice while it is playing in the background. It has occurred to me that all this guitar practice may one day lead to a paying job. However, if I have one student who is successful, - even if it is learning only patterns that help with memory, not necessarily a gig - and has no money, I would take that over several students that were not serious, but padded my bank account. Gd is not money. Work with what you have, money or not, and I have a firm belief that anything is possible with faith.

In defense of the Torah: Rebellious Sons, and Their Punishment. Part 2

Atheists, and others, may object to capital punishment, saying that the Torah is, “cruel and immoral.”  However, we find loyal Jews commenting the same with respect to rebellious sons in Talmud.  Many people have a hard time wrapping their heads around the idea that such people can exist.  However, psychology does know of sociopaths; defined as - people born without a conscious that can never have one, and will do evil at every chance (evil rebellious children that only become evil adults), and such people, rebellious sons, should be considered as candidate for the punishment of death.  That is, psychologists believe that the premise of some religions - that everyone knows right from wrong - is not true.  This is the psychological diagnosis: “Antisocial personality disorder,” for which there is no cure.

It is not even a sociopath’s fault that he or she is a sociopath.  This disorder is simply something they are born with, and live all of their life with.

There is no diagnosis most psychologists believe is more despicable.  Even psychologists usually have less compassion for sociopaths.  Sociological disorders are the only diagnosis professionals commonly feel this way about. A psychologist would be more likely to say murder should be forgiven, than say that sociopath is not a waste of flesh.  Psychologists generally respond with compassion for every other psychological disease.

The Torah requires three eye witnesses to put someone to death, a trial, and several other measures, such as a warning and an acceptance of a warning (intent), and that the person does it anyway after the warning, to prevent a miscarriage of justice.  Assuming, Judaic law (a utopian ideal for me), I believe that if three licensed psychiatrists (read “elders” Deuteronomy 21:20) diagnose a child as a sociopath, then that son should be put to death because the world will be better off.


I do not believe in capital punishment by pelting anyone with stones.  Sociopaths should be put to death by lethal injection.  The Talmud says that, “When one sins it is as if their heart turns to stone.”  Thus, I believe death by lethal injection is humane and correct replacement to the old way of pelting criminals with stones, as lethal injection causes a person’s heart to turn to stone.

Maimonides counted the command relative to this as 106 (Leviticus 19:26, Deuteronomy 21:20).

The definition of a rebellious son is who is, “Stubborn, gluttonous, and an alcoholic.”  In modern times, drunkard should be inclusive of a son who has an illegal drug addiction.  To put to death a rebellious son is an obligation, meaning it is a good deed or mitzvah, yet this is something that courts of justice would have to support in order for it to be legal in the USA.  It is a command specifically for Jews and not gentiles.  However, I support gentiles adhering to this particular verse.  I am a Judaizer, which of course is forbidden according to Christians, but hopefully Christians will change for the better.

21:18 If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, that will not hearken to the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and though they chasten him, will not hearken unto them;
21:19 then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;
21:20 and they shall say unto the elders of his city: 'This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he doth not hearken to our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard.'

21:21 And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die; so shalt thou put away the evil from the midst of thee; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.
